In case you didn’t know I go by Dave, David, Tag, Taggart, and will answer to other names as well. I am from Wyoming. But more on that later.
My work, passion, and headache are financial markets. I am the founder and chief market strategist of Process Driven Macro PDMacro.com where I do global macro research. I have been full time in markets since August of 2000 in various capacities. Spent 11ish years as a broker, and the last 14ish years doing and writing research trying to figure out the market, the economy, and the effects they have on each other looking for trade ideas, major themes, and trends.
This blog will touch on markets, but the primary focus is on everything else that I am interested in. Wyoming, “regular” business, media, sports, life, health and fitness, books, etc. Basically anything I feel like writing about. If you check out my first post it involves markets, Saddam Hussein, losing money, etc. Not normal global macro stuff.
